Oak Hill School is a model public-private partnership in the field of autism and related developmental differences. Over 12 years ago, five families came together to create a therapeutic educational environment for their children that they were not able to find anywhere else. A complete wrap around support system for each individual child was formed to allow students to become active and flexible learners. They not only accomplished this goal for their own children, but they were able to create a vibrant school that currently serves 35 families largely funded through school districts throughout the Bay Area. Oak Hill provides a lab setting for teachers and therapists training in relationship-based methods.
Your investment in Oak Hill is the lifeline for our students and families, many of whom failed in other school environments. At Oak Hill School, students are given the support needed to access their academics and develop skills for independent living. The cost of our program is not covered by tuition alone and we rely on donors like you to help us continue to transform the lives of children with developmental differences.
