Oak Hill Diploma Track

Technology

Innovative technology is used to support communication, behavior, life skills, travel skills and job skills. Oak Hill School prides itself on the use of age-appropriate technology, such as iPads, iPods, tablets and laptops, to promote the independence and success of each student. We also teach appropriate use of social media and help students learn the social rules of the technological age.

Within Oak Hill School's therapeutic and strengths-based model, the Oak Hill Prep program partners with public school districts across the Bay Area and delivers standards-based coursework to diploma candidates.

Oak Hill Prep serves students for whom regular high schools - even small ones - are daunting social and sensory environments. With a robust set of neurodiversity-affirming practices, on-site therapies, and a high teacher/student ratio, students excel in their studies and earn the regular high school diploma.

Oak Hill Prep by the numbers:

  • 20+ diploma graduates by 2026 (projected)

  • 10 public school districts

  • 6 Bay Area counties

  • 4 years of supported, strengths-based instruction
